Motherhood is no Joke
We all know raising little humans is tough and exhausting. Let’s face it, ladies motherhood is the hardest and best job in the world at the same time.
It’s a beautiful chaos which comes with joy, sadness, excitement, and love just to name a few. It’s a crazy and wonderful adventure.
We try daily our best to keep up with the house, to take care of our little humans, and try to get a moment for ourselves from time to time.
But sometimes it seems like other mommies had it all together and you’re the only one who’s such a mess. You feel guilty and feel certain pressures for not being a perfect Mom.
Let’s be honest on that one „there is no such a thing as the perfect Mom„. We should stop putting pressure on ourselves to try to be perfect and do our best to enjoy Motherhood and mommin it our way.

I woke up last Sunday and for the first time ever I said to my hubby “I don’t want to parent today.” I really didn’t. I just wanted a day off. I was sick, kids were sick, molars, wonder weeks, I’d overcommitted with work. I was tired. I am tired. I haven’t slept a whole night in a year. I just craved a full day to myself without being poked, prodded, pulled at, whined at… without being touched. But as soon as the words were out of my mouth I felt guilty. You guys know I’m beyond grateful for my kids- they are my biggest blessings and I rarely complain (out loud) because I have the perspective to know how lucky I am. They are my world. My life. I tell them I love them a billion times I day. I show them I do…. But I am still tired, I still loose my shit a few too many times ( a day), still hide in the pantry and eat Nutella from the jar…. I read a post by @amyeshipp (mother to twins + 1 ) asking “can I be grateful and f%^*ing over it? “ And well, yes, you can. We can. Being a parent is all consuming. There are so many conflicting emotions. It’s messy, challenging, exhausting, but still somehow the best thing ever. I like to think I’m a glass half full kinda person, but sometimes it’s OK to just say F*#% this, lets start over tomorrow. So if you’ve had a week like me and feeling over it- just know you’re not alone … & I’ll meet you in the pantry 😉 Signed forever grateful, but a little personal space every now and then would be nice. #yougotthis #motherhood #sotired #sograteful #mumlifeA post shared by NOT SO MUMSY ™ (@notsomumsy) on
